Estados não representados e a necessidade de uma psicanálise transformacional

Resumo

Gadinni (1984) e Bolognini (2020) apontaram que houve mudanças significativas nas manifestações psicopatológicas desde a época de Freud. Ambos os autores indicam que os estados borderlines e narcisistas são componentes das mudanças observadas nas manifestações psicopatológicas contemporâneas. Essas mudanças não alteraram a psicanálise em seu método ou processo, mas continuaram a levar o trabalho analítico além dos elementos reprimidos do inconsciente para um nível mais profundo que enfatiza a transformação de estados não representados e, portanto, mais sobre a criação de estrutura psíquica do que o acesso ao conteúdo reprimido.  O processo transformacional enfatiza o trabalho com o paciente para criar novas estruturas psíquicas em áreas caracterizadas por vazios, reforçar estruturas psíquicas fracas que contribuem para distorções e, para que o aparato psíquico funcione de forma mais organizada. Este artigo tem como objetivo explorar o conceito de psicanálise transformacional como uma abordagem para trabalhar com estados não neuróticos em um contexto analítico pós-moderno, revisitando a ideia de representação de Freud e discutindo as perspetivas freudianas contemporâneas sobre estados não representados com um caso clínico. Além disso, o artigo propõe que, para se concentrar num modo mais transformacional, o analista precisa funcionar como o «Outro Operativo», conforme articulado por Freud na sua expressão «wirksamen anderen» (1916), seguido de um caso clínico.

Marcelo Gomes

Dr. Marcelo Gomes é psicanalista em Nova York, NY. Ele é Diretor do programa de pós-graduação em psicanálise do Blanton-Peale Graduate Institute em Manhatan onde também atua como supervisor clínico na clínica do instituto. Ele é membro American Psychoanalytic Association, um componente da IPA e da British Association for Training and Psychotherapy. Ele é Doutor em religião pela Universidade de Boston e PhD em ciências da psicoterapia pela Universidade Sigmund Freud em Viena, Áustria. Dr. Marcelo Gomes tem 20 anos de experiência clínica e é licenciado nos estados de NY, NJ, Vermont e também psicoterapeuta registrado no Reino Unido.
