Estados no representados y la necessidad de un psicoanálisis transformacional

Resumen

Gadinni (1984) y Bolognini (2020) señalaron que se han producido cambios significativos en las manifestaciones psicopatológicas desde la época de Freud. Ambos autores indican que los estados borderline y narcisistas son componentes de los cambios observados en las manifestaciones psicopatológicas contemporáneas. Estos cambios no alteraron el método o el proceso del psicoanálisis, pero continuaron llevando el trabajo analítico más allá de los elementos reprimidos del inconsciente a un nivel más profundo que enfatiza la transformación de estados no representados y, por lo tanto, más sobre la creación de estructura psíquica que sobre el acceso al contenido reprimido. El proceso transformacional enfatiza el trabajo con el paciente para crear nuevas estructuras psíquicas en áreas caracterizadas por vacíos, reforzar estructuras psíquicas débiles que contribuyen a distorsiones y hacer que el aparato psíquico funcione de manera más organizada. Este artículo tiene como objetivo explorar el concepto de psicoanálisis transformacional como un enfoque para trabajar con estados no neuróticos en un contexto analítico posmoderno, revisando la idea de representación de Freud y discutiendo las perspectivas freudianas contemporáneas sobre los estados no representados con un caso clínico. Además, el artículo propone que, para centrarse en un modo más transformacional, el analista debe funcionar como el «Otro Operativo», tal y como lo articuló Freud en su expresión «wirksamen anderen» (1916), seguido de un caso clínico.

Dr. Marcelo Gomes é psicanalista em Nova York, NY. Ele é Diretor do programa de pós-graduação em psicanálise do Blanton-Peale Graduate Institute em Manhatan onde também atua como supervisor clínico na clínica do instituto. Ele é membro American Psychoanalytic Association, um componente da IPA e da British Association for Training and Psychotherapy. Ele é Doutor em religião pela Universidade de Boston e PhD em ciências da psicoterapia pela Universidade Sigmund Freud em Viena, Áustria. Dr. Marcelo Gomes tem 20 anos de experiência clínica e é licenciado nos estados de NY, NJ, Vermont e também psicoterapeuta registrado no Reino Unido.
