Acolher o estrangeiro, sonhar o que ainda não aconteceu
Abstract
The author reflects on the psychoanalytic encounter as an intersubjective and transitional space in which listening, trust, openness to the unknown and hospitality to the foreigner, constitute the bases of free association and of the constructions under analysis, source of its transformative power and of a possible regeneration of blocked or missing mental places, once unheard, unseen and unrecognized. As a humanly inhabited space, the clinic can then embrace its origin, clinamen – a transforming and creative deviation – and dream about what has not happened yet.
